On Thursday 12th September, 2024, newly appointed Secretary and Assistant Secretary were officially sworn – in by the Executive Chairman, Kajola Local Government of Oyo State, Hon. Akeem Olawale Mustapha Esq. amidst pomp and pageantry
At the epoch making occasion which came up at the Local Government Secretariat Complex, Okeho, the duo of Hon. Olaonipekun Samuel Segun and Hon. Quadr Yunus Abiola were sworn – in as Secretary to the Local Government and Assistant Secretary respectively.
While appreciating the Oyo State Governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde for the approval of the lists of Secretaries and Assistant Secretaries across the Local Government’s of Oyo State, the Local Government’s helmsman sought the cooperation of the new appointees with his government and all stakeholders in the management of the council with a view to moving the area forward
He reiterated his commitment to an open door policy, with a promise to ensure that dividends of democracy reach all nooks and crannies of the Local Government Area.
The swearing-in ceremony was well attended by stakeholders and well-wishers, including the Vice Chairman, Hon. Robert Charles Adeniji; Leader of the House, Hon. Ogunleke Sunday Julius; members of the Legislative House; Supervisors; Special Assistants; as well as Party Leaders led by PDP Chairman in the Local Government, Prince Johnson Ojebiyi.
The Head of Local Government Administration, Alhaja Abass A. I. along with Directors, Sectional Heads Staff of the Local Government, Community and Religious Leaders, security agents and well wishers from far and near were also at the occasion.
