First I wish to appreciate Almighty Allah for a day like this and for his Goodness and mercies over us and the entre Community. When something outstanding happens, one is compelled to. say not just something but something to show appreciation somerning to assure and reassured and something to indicats to the concerned of the people what they might expect as a result of the outstanding event. I wish to express profound gratitude to His Royal Majesty the Onjo of Okeho Oba Dr. Rafiu Osuolale Mustapha Aditan 11 for the trust and confidence reposed in me to honor me with the post of the Charman of our great Association EGBE OMO IBILE OKEHO. His approval of the recommendation of the think thank group led us to the occasion. I also wish to thank and appreciate our indifatigable ASIWAJU OF OKEHO” Chief Segun Gbadegesin also for the trust and confidence reposed in me and his expression of support for my candidature The same sxpressions of gratitude and appreciation go to all Elder Statesmen and Women that equally indicated their support .Almighty Allah will always be there for each and everyone of us, for our great Association and for the entire Community . To be called to serve as the Chairman of a Great Association such as EGBE DMO IBILE OKEHO is considered outstanding an honour and a highly significant event hence I thank all and sundry for this great opportunity given to me. I hereby pledge to do utmost during my tenure to justify the the trust, the Confidence and the Support By virtue of my upbringing in Okeho and my participation in various activities involving numerous and diverse members of the Community, I can say without iota of reservation that the Community is endowed with massive human and material resources and the capacity to grow and develop. I am delighted and excited to see my Honourable colleagues here that together we will serve in the Executive. The team comprises of intelectuals, man and women of integnty, intelligent and rational adults who are immensely concerned with the desired growth, development and the welfare of the totality of the citizens of the Community. I have no doubt about it that the Association is in good handsI have long been taken keen interest in the cause and the various activities of the Assocation In line with its Vision, Mission and core values. This outstanding happening of today potends a stronger call to serve I am more eager than before to lend my support to move the Community to greater heights.I wish to appreciate all indigenes of Okeho home and abroad for steadfastness in identifying with their root Okeho.I wish to enjoin all to continue to support the cause of Egbe Omo Ibile Okeho.The vision and Mission of the association is about you, about me and about our children and generations to come, let us unite to live a legacy that we will ever be proud of.
