The Elero of Ilero,His Royal Majesty Oba Wasiu Oyedele Saka (Olokolonigi) has inaugurated the Comrade Femi Ayinde as Olori- Odo and other executive members of Ilero Youths Council.The occasion took place at Ilero Town Hall on 10th February,2024.
Speaking during the inauguration Oba Wasiu Oyedele charged them to be good ambassadors and law-abiding youth of the town.He also appreciated the effort of Alhaji Abubakar Gbadamosi ,Pa Okunade Adesina and Ilero Progressives Association led by Lekan Ogunkanbi for making the programme a successful one adding that the executive members was selected by the youths of the town without interverance from any one.
Oba Saka urged the youth leader and his executive members to fight for the progress and development of the town .He also let them know that Irepodun Omo Ilero is the head of all association in the town, adding that the Ilero Progressives Youths Association is for Ilero abroad while the newly inaugurated one is meant for Youths living in the town (home based)
Both Alhaji Abubakar Gbadamosi and Pa Okunade Adesina advised them to see their call to service as an opportunity and charged them to be faithful in doing things.
Earlier in his welcome address, Chairman Irepodun Omo Ilero,Mr Bamgbade Sunday felicitated with the newly inaugurated executive members and urged them to contribute their own quota to the development of the town.
He lauds the Elero of Ilero Oba Oyedele Saka for peaceful and wisdom way of ruling the town.
In his acceptance speech Comrade Femi Ayinde the youth leader of Ilero appreciated the two leader Alhaji Abu Adejare and Pa Okunade Adesina for their fatherly advised and thanked HRM Oba Wasiu Oyedele Saka.While Chief Imam of Ilero Alhaji Abdul Fatai Aderibigbe Fasasi and Rev’d Taiwo Alawode prayed for the newly executive members and urged them to be good servant of the town.
