The legislative Arms of Kajola Local Government led by the leader of the House,Hon Kehinde Ayegboyin has appreciated the Governor of the state,Engr. Oluwaseyi Makinde for making their Councilorship ambition a reality during his tenure and thanked the Chairman of Kajola Local Government Alhaji Salimonu Afolabi Borikansunwon for good working relationship through their tenure
The Councilors who made this known while speaking to the coalition of Kajola Media organization at their chamber in the Secretariat complex Okeho thanked the PDP leaders, political functionaries and entire members of PDP family across the local government.
Speaking through four members of the house in their separate remarks, Deputy Leader and Councillor representing Ward 09,Hon Amusat Taofiki Adebare appreciated the executive Governor of the state Engr Oluwaseyi Makinde, Senator Hosea Ayoola Halleluyah, Alhaji Salimonu Afolabi Borikansunwon,PDP leaders, political functionaries and entire party members.He stated that Makinde emergency made them Councilorship ambitions to come to reality,by delivering good governance to the people of Oyo State made people to vote massively for them.He added that the support of the Chairman of the council (Borikansunwon) before and after their emergence make their Councilorship years rewarding experience..
Hon Amusat lauds the leaders of PDP in the local government, party members and career officers support for their success.While speaking on their achievements and other matters Hon Idowu Rasaq Abiodun who represent Ward 05 made it clear that part of their achievement as councillor in conjunction with the executive arm is the contribution to the establishment of Okeho Open University, renovation of Ilua Town Hall, elevation of some Baales to kings/monarch, grading of some roads, repairing of malfunctioning boreholes and repairing and replacing of damaged electric poles.
They also sought the opportunity to let the newsmen aware of bills they passed inorder to improve the Internal Generated Revenue of the council.
They mentioned bill for construction of Hostel at Ladoke Akintola University, Iseyin campus,bill for plantation of cashew and bill for construction of 5kilometres road in each wards which they believe would come to reality before the expiration of their tenure.
Also speaking, the majority leader of the house ,who is also the councillor of ward 02 Ilero,Hon Tajudeen Adediran frowned at non payment of some Chiefs at Ilero their salaries since 2011 despite not dead nor replaced from their respective office.
He stated that the house received a protest letter from affected chiefs, he mentioned Jagun Ilero,Agoro of Ilero and Iyalode of Ilero.Though house has worked seriously on it and he believe that concerned authorities will get them pay before the month run out.
Hon Adediran also appealed to those in Chieftaincy matters to see to other Baale’s welfare by upgrading their salaries.
In his own contribution, Hon Salami Onaolapo Mudasiru from ward 11, appreciated the PDP leaders in the local government led by Alhaji O K Salami,Pa Okunade Adesina, Alhaji Alli Oyedeji, Alhaji Rasaq Igbayilola Pa Jeremiah Akinyemi, Alhaji Kazeem Biliaminu among others PDP local executive members led by Hon Johnson Ojebiyi,ward executive members and entire party members for their votes and support before, during and after election. He therefore charged them not to stop supporting them.
All the speakers including all the Councillors present earnestly implored the party leaders, the party executives and the entire Kajola citizens to give their unflinching support to the ambition of Barrister Akeem Mustapha (MUGATY) so that he could win the forthcoming local government election.
