Former supervisory councillor for Agriculture in Kajola Local government,Hon Waheed Ajadi has promise to make the local government save for democracy.
Hon Ajadi stated this while speaking with OkehoNews reporter recently said that government must be placed in the hands of people that can be trusted, passionate and accessible and to those that are committed to the advancement of the local government.
His words ‘I have no selfish ends to serve.I derive no conquest,no indemnities for myself,no material compensation for the sacrifice we shall cheerfully make.We are but one of the champions of the rights of mankind.We shall be satisfied when those rights have been secured for our freedom and common good.
He stressed that he would change the way things are done and rebuild the whole local government and make the citizens of the local government pride if he get opportunity to serve as chairman of Kajola Local government.
While noting that the peace of the local government must be planted upon the tested foundation of political liberty,said he will bring fresh ideas and positive changesto the local government based on conviction, commitment, competence and compassion.
He declare his support for those that are agitating for better candidate to be fielded in the local government inorder for the people to benefit dividends of democracy from competent hand.
To achieve self reliance, Waheed Ajadi promised to empower the youths if giving chance, my focus is to change the way things are done and rebuild the whole local government and make being a citizen of the local government a pride.
He equally declare his commitment to infrastructural development, education skills, acquistion, cultural development and gives security the attention it deserves.
Hon. Ajadi however stated that there is no political party that can stand alone for the forthcoming local government election, that is why I am challenging those who stated that the race is between the APC and PDP…SDP will spring surprise if care is not taking.he concluded.
