OkehoNews, arguably the longest surviving community newspaper in Oyo state now publishes daily. According to a statement signed by the publisher of the newspaper, Bola Olalere, the newspaper will now publish articles and news stories daily on it’s website OkehoNews.com in addition to it’s normal monthly paper publication.
The statement also stated that the newspaper will also add to it publication a digital version of all it’s editions for easy online distribution across the world.
OkehoNews which was first published in November 2002 is a community newspaper that reports primarily activities within kajola local government area of Oyo state and other related state, national and international news stories.
The statement also stated that interesting contents will also be available on OkehoNews YouTube channel ( OkehoNewsTV) 24hours everyday and enjoined the good people of the area to subscribe to the channel.
According to the statement, former Editor in Chief of Guardian Newspaper and the current Nigerian Ambassador to Republic of Togo, Ambassador Debo Adesina will give the 21st anniversary lecture of the newspaper later in the year in Okeho .
