The Director of SEAP Microfinance Bank and SEAP Radio 89.1 FM Okeho, Pastor Olatunde Oladokun has stated expressly that he has no interest in politics. He gave this clarification after the final match between Okeho United FC and Derby FC Ilorin which held at Okeho Iganna Grammar School, Meseole Okeho on the 6th of February, 2024.
He challenged anyone to tear his posters if they ever saw one indicating his interest in any political post. According to the business mogul, his 3000 hectares of farmland along Iseyin road could employ able bodied youths ready to work. He therefore urged the youth to shun the beggarly “tuale” culture of entitlement without commensurate work.
Touching on his previous comments to the kabiyesi nd his chiefs t the Onjo’s palace, he appealed to artisans and traders to be modest in pricing as the current trend in Okeho was exorbitant pricing in comparison to neighbouring towns with fewer resources.
Pastor Oladokun promised the people of the town to expect more as plans are still underway to establish more companies that will make Okeho greater than it was currently. He awarded the he sum of N1.5 Million naira to first place team Derby FC Ilorin, N1 Million naira to United FC Okeho, N600 thousand naira to Galaxy FC Okeho and N300 thousand to Nieman.
Speaking earlier before the match, the Onjo of Okeho His Royal Majesty Oba Dr Rafiu Osuolale Mustapha Adeitan 11 showered accolades on Pastor Olatunde Oladokun. He encouraged the Bodè native not to rest on his oars but to continue his good works especially for his home town.
