One of the major occupation of the people of Kajola , Iseyin, Itesiwaju and Iwajowa federal constituency of Oyo State is agriculture and during his electioneering campaign, Hon.Shina Oyedeji made a covenant with the farmers in the constituency that their interest will be adequately taken care of when elected.
Since his election, Hon Shina Oyedeji has kept faith with these farmers who are full of gratitude to him for being a politician of his words. Before his one year in office, the honorable has procured a brand new tractor for the use of the farmers in his constituency at a subcidised rate.
He embarked on the provision of borehole water as well as solar powered street light for these farm communities and other communities.
Earlier this year, he distributed several bags of fertilizer to the farmers and sponsored the grading of these farm settlement roads and just yesterday, at Iwere Ile in Iwajowa Local Government area he distributed agrochemicals to the farmer in his quest to make the farmers in the constituency enjoy the dividends of good representation through his office.
The epoch making event was held at the premises of Iwajowa Local Government Secretariat Iwere-Ile.
In his welcoming address ,the Chairman of Iwajowa Local Government Hon Oyewumi Muritala Abiodun praised the federal lawmaker for fulfilling his electioneering campaign promises to the people of his constituency.
He also assured the people of the federal constituency of more goodies to come, adding that they should continue to support PDP candidates in the future election.
While speaking, the Chairman of People’s Democratic Party PDP in Kajola Local Government Chief Johnson Ojebiyi hailed Hon Najeemdeen Oyesina Oyedeji for being a good ambassador of the party and he also listed his achievements within the shortest period in the house of Representative. He sought the opportunity to appealed to the people of the constituency to give Hon Oyedeji second term opportunity since one good term deserves another.
In his contribution,Pa Michael Adegbite, the former PDP Chairman in Oyo State appreciated the federal lawmaker for delivering dividends of democracy to the people and pray for more strength for him.
Also the Baale Agbe of Iwajowa Local Government thanked the honorable for keeping his words with them saying this kind of politician is rare.
