Today, 9th of February 2024 is another good day in Okeho as we witness the birth of SEAP 89.1 Fm, Okeho.
As the Chief Executive of the first media organization in Okeho, OkehoNews, an organisation for which we pride ourselves as the longest surviving community newspaper in Oyo state, having publish from 2002 till date. It is a thing of joy seeing our darling community have an FM radio station.
How Lucky can one community be?
SEAP FM is not just an ordinary FM radio station, but a specialised one with more focus on enterprenuship.
As I will alw,ays write, Okeho will become great when we have many successful individuals. Having SEAP FM in Okeho with its tagline as the entrepreneurship Radio will spur many individuals to success, and our greatness as a town will not be hidden.
Okeho is in for a good time. Let’s brace up for the avalanche of many successful entrepreneurs who shall be inspired by SEAP FM and even backed by SEAP Microfinance Bank.
I congratulate the visioner and Chairman of SEAP Holdings, Dr. Olatunde Oladokun, a true son of the soil, who could have sited this station in the city but brought it home. Iwájú Iwájú lòpáp ebiti yín yío ma ré sí.
This is therefore a clarion call to other well meaning indigenes of Okeho to come and invest at home. It is more satisfying being the source of gladness to your kinsmen by providing job opportunities to them, or bringing services closer to them. It is equally rewarding, it is what makes legends. It is legendary because posterity will not forget and of course IRE NBE NÍLÉ.
