Twenty years is a long time in the life of a person or organization.Many even believe that life begins at 40.For any organization to have survived 20 YEARS of active existence.It calls for real celebration and that seemingly informed the reason why the Imam Soliu Olawale Tijani Ariyayo led the society rolled-out drums to celebrate the 20 years of existence in March, 2024.
The programme is schedule to hold on Saturday 23rd March,2024 at LA Basic School, Olele, Okeho and it will commence at 10:00am.
While speaking with Managing Editor OkehoNews Salau Basiru Taiwo,the Chief Imam of the society who also double as Chief host Alhaji (Imam) Soliu Olawale Tijani Ariyayo attributed the success of the society for the past 20 years to Almighty Allah.He said that the society kick started in 1997 at Okeho,began Jummah service at Late Alhaji Chief Shittu. Adisa Oladejo ‘s mosque on 12th March,2004.
He stated that the programme will begin with Jummah service and reading of Qur’an on 22nd March,2024 while the grand finale will hold on Saturday 23rd March,2024 which will consist of turbaning and awards presentation to eminent personalities.Alhaji Ariyayo further said that there is going to be a Ramadan Lecture by Ustadh Adam Mustapha Awayewaserere, the Guest lecturer ,on the Topic AL-JIHADU FIL SEBILILLAH.
The Chief Missioner of the society in Oyo State also appealed to the invitees to grace the occasion massively and donate generously for the completion of their Permanent Mosque at Eleepe Area Okeho.
Among the people expecting to grace the occasion is Chief Imam of Okeho Ustadh Sulaimon Totoola Olopoenia 111,,the Onjo of Okeho His Royal Majesty Oba Dr Rafiu Osuolale Mustapha Adeitan 11 and host of others.He prayed for hitch free programme and mercy journey of all participants to the occasion.
