The Nigerian Society for Animal Production (NSAP) has elected Prof O. J. Babayemi of the Department of Animal Science, University of Ibadan as the new President at its 49th annual conference that ended on Wednesday 27th March 2024.
At the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the society held in Ibadan, Prof Babayemi was unanimously elected as the 16th President of the association since its inception in 1973.
Nigerian Society for Animal Production is a big umbrella of animal production in Nigerian, comprising of Animal Scientists, Veterinarians, Wildlife, Fisheries, Livestock extension and economics, Pasture agronomist, Industrialists, Livestock farmers, Butchers and other relevant agro allied industries.
