Young Matthew was born to the family of Late Gabriel Odegbaro Olaeghe and Madam Alice Olaege of Jagun Okooye’s compound, Ilero town in Kajala Local Government of Oyo state in the
early 70’s where he had his primary and Secondary education at Baptist High School, llero.
The love for western education brought Matthew Olagbe to the Prestigious Federal Polytechnic, Hare for his ND and HND in the field of Accountancy between 1994 and 1999. He graduated with Upper Credit Division in both cases.
This credible ambassador of the Federal Polytechnic, llaro has worked in various banks in Nigeria since his graduation as a team member, team leader and now a Financial Controller. He was an experienced Financial Management Professional and Tax Manager. A result driven, self-motivated and resourceful financial controller with proven ability to provide key financial data, support and reporting to assist key business decisions, excellent communication skill and ability to build strong relationships both within and outside financial department. He possessed strong financial control and reporting skills and rigorously ensuring that all Regulatory, Statutory and Corporate obligations are met.
His experience in Merger and Acquisition was undoubted haven participated actively in two separate successful Merger and Acquisition that involved several Banks in Nigeria. Matthew was a talented leader, proactive and goal oriented financial controller with demonstrated track record and proven expertise in driving efficiency and productivity through evaluation of financial management system and implementation of process improvements to support achievement of overall corporate goals and objectives
Matthew Adedayo Olaeghe was an Associate Chartered Accountant, an Associate Chartered Institute of Taxation and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Finance and Control.
